Return to Play Requirements (RTP)
On July 13, 2020, the Gouldbourn Lawn Bowling Club opened under the Phase 1 Return to Play (RTP) protocols issued by Bowls Canada (BC) and the OLBA. On July 20th, we moved to Phase 3 level protocols. These are consistent with requirements and policies issued by federal, provincial and municipal governments for health and safety in the context of the on-going challenges of coping with the coronavirus. Each member should be fully aware and understand all of them. Our insurance coverage and successful return to play is totally dependent on all members respecting and adhering to these protocols.
Play begins no later than 9:30 so members must be present at the green by 9:15.
Members must pre-schedule all play by contacting the Scheduler (Garry Ross) by email.
Play may be booked for one session at a time no more than 48 hrs in advance of the session being booked. For example, Wednesday session may not be booked before Monday.
Members may book for themselves plus a partner or team.
Phase 3 allows a maximum of 24 players using 4 rinks.
Each rink will utilize two jacks. Only 1 person on each team will have responsibility for setting the jack.
We will use a chalk mark instead of mats to mark the location of the delivery position
Members will be assigned a rink at sign-in.
